Reading your fix list
How to interpret issues and prioritise fixes.
After your audit, VisibAI generates a prioritized list of issues affecting your AI visibility. Each issue has a severity level, a description, and a specific fix recommendation. Here's how to read and act on it.
Severity levels
Critical — These block AI platforms from seeing your site entirely. Examples: robots.txt blocking GPTBot, no SSL certificate, site returning errors. Fix these first — they have the highest impact.
Important — These significantly reduce your visibility but don't block it completely. Examples: missing schema markup, no FAQ content, no sitemap. Fix these after critical issues.
Suggested — These are optimizations that can improve your score further. Examples: adding llms.txt file, improving meta descriptions, adding more structured content.
Fixing issues in order
Always fix critical issues first. A single critical issue (like a blocked AI crawler) can suppress your entire visibility even if everything else is perfect. Once critical issues are resolved, move to important issues, then suggested improvements.
Generated fix files
For certain issues, VisibAI can generate the actual fix file for you. This includes a corrected robots.txt that allows AI crawlers, schema markup code you can paste into your site's HTML, and FAQ content structured for AI citation. These are available on the Starter plan and above.
Tracking progress
Use the checkboxes in your fix list to mark issues as resolved. Your progress is saved so you can return later and see what's left. When you've addressed all critical and important issues, consider running a new audit to see your improved score.
